    the Guatemalan army took political control of the State and developed a series of counterinsurgency that closed even more the spaces of participation politically and socially of the population
  • A new Political Constitution

    a new Political Constitution was promulgated and up to today there have taken place 8 electoral process. These new circumstances, together with the international community, gave origin to conversations of governmental representatives with the guerrilla groups
  • Peace Accords

    a negotiation process of the Peace Accords
