-Most of the Aegean islands and ionian cities
-Cities in Propontis
-Thrace and Euboea

Cimon led an expeditionary force to recapture these two cities after the disgrace and recall of Pausanias

Persians expelled from their base in Thrace- added advantage for Athens and league in access to mineral, timber and trading opportunities.
