  • The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

    Most of Europe was divided into two groups the Triple Entente; that group consisted of Great Britain, France, and Russia. Then there was the Triple Alliance which was Austria-Hungry, Germany, and Italy. This event was the spark to the Great War. This was the start of WWI. This is were people chose sides and allies.
