On November 8th, 1942 North Africa got invaded by the US and Great Britain troops. British didn't feel strong enough to attack Germany via France and due to that, the victory of El Alamein in November 1942 was a big help to the Allies to attack the Axis forces in North Africa.

It started when the Russians developed rocket technology and launched Sputnik into outer space and it was the first artificial satellite to orbit Earth, on October 4, 1957.

On November 1, 1965 the US was entering the Vietnam war against Vietnam. On March 9,1965, 3,500 US Marines came ashore at Da Nang and was the first wave of US combat troops into South Vietnam, adding to the 25,000 U.S. military advisers already in place.

The Space Race ended in 1957. The Spae Race began in 1957. The Space Race was about the Soviet Union and the US battling to explore space first. The ZSoviet Union did many more things than the Us, but the US won because they sent a man on the moon.

On April 30 1975 the Us lost the Vietnam war to Vietnam. Most people say that the US won the war but in all truth Vietnam won and the US lost. That day changed a lot of things in history as others events did.

On January 28, 1986 the Space Challenger exploded over Cape Canaveral, and due to that it killed all the astronauts aboard. The Space Challenger exploded 73 seconds into its flight and just broke apart and all the pieces flew everywhere.
