The Anschluss
Hitler got all the German speaking people in Austria together. He created the "Third Reich" known as the German empire. He threatenedbto invade Austria if the Nazi party members were not given important positions. The chancellors were so terrified that they did what he said. He sent troops and announced the Anschluss. -
The Munich Conference
His next goal was to take over Czenchoslovakia. France and the Soviet Union so he would not invade them. In order to avoid another war the prime minister of Britain Neville granted the appeasement to Hitler. Which promised Hitler the Sudentenland if he promised not to take the rest of Czechoslovakia. But to be honest he did not care because he still took over Czechoslovakia soon after. -
The Nazi Soviet Pact
Now Hitler is trying to invade Poland. Germany and the USSR signed the Nazi soviet pact. wHICH KEPt the USSR out of war if Germany went to war against Britain and France in order to get Polish lands. -
Danzig and the Polish Corridor
After Hitler taking over Sudetenland he wants to take Danzig to. He want to build a highway to connect Poland , Germany, Danzig, and East Prussia.Britain and France knew it was going to fail. So they said they would back up Poland if Hitler invaded them. Which encouraged Polnd to Hitler. -
The War Begins
