This morning was the 5th wedding anniversary of Nick and Amy Dunne. This was the morning when Amy went missing and Nick started his search to find her. -
July 10th, 2012
Amy is still "missing" and she contacts her ex-boyfriend from high school. His name is Desi Collings. He has been obsessed with her since they started dating in high school. -
July 20th, 2012
This was a day that Amy saw an interview that Nick had done with a reporter about how his wife was missing. This fired Amy up and got her thinking how she could get back at Nick for some of the things that he said. -
August 5th, 2012
Amy returns home to Nick and he realizes that he story does not add up. He asks her about it when they get home from being interviewed by the police and she tells him that she did this just for the attention that she anted to get from Nick and everyone else that was keeping track of her. -
August 4th, 2012
Amy staged Desi Collings' death to make it look like she was raped by him, but really she just killed him out of spite. -
August 10th, 2012
The police continue to interview both Nick and Amy about her kidnapping and even the police are catching on to Amy's story not adding up. Amy tells Nick that she is pregnant and Nick is realizing that he is going to have to stay with Amy for the child's sake.
