Hitler launches a surprise invasion on Denmark and Norway in order to "protect those country's freedom and independence." In reality, Hitler planned on building military bases along their coastlines and make moves on Great Britain. By the end of may, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg were run over by Germany.
