Genghis Khan is born

Genghis Kahn was born in Central Mongolia. When he was born his name was not Genghis Kahn but Temujin, after a Tartar Chief his father caotured. Over his life Khan will become one of the most influential leaders of the Mongolian Empire.

Marriage

At age 16 Genghis Khan married Borte Ujin. She was the first of many wives.

Written Language

Kahn hired somone to create a writted language for the Mogolian people based on the Ugyhur script.

Surrender of kingdom Xi Xia

Oct 21, 1207

In 1207 Khan led his armies against Xi Xia, and after two years of campaigning, the kingdom surrednered.

Campaign for the Jin Dyanasty

In 1211 Genghis Khan began a campaign against the Jin Dynasty, that would last 20 yuears. he was lured to this by the endless amount of rice fileds and rice

Demise of the Khwarizm Dynasty

Khan personally planned 3 pronged attacks against the dynasty. His army of 200,000 mongolians captured city after city. Eventually the captured Shah Muhammed and his son and the dynasty was brought to an end.

Death

When Kahn was heading beack from a victorious campaign against the Central Asians he died.
