    The purpose of this organization was to ensure the Soviet Union did not expand. As well as America wanted to be fear by Soviet Union by placing arms forces in Europe. Europe and America teamed up to defeat the Soviet Union.

    Soviets blocked west Berlin from roads to access goods. America sent air lifts to drop off food for the people of Berlin. This was great for both the USA and the people of Berlin.
