OXO
OXO was one of the first games to ever come out though it had pretty terrible sales it was still evolutionary. -
Pong
Pong is revolutionary game because it was one of the first arcade machines ever built. -
Adventure
Inside the black castle catacombs (on difficulty level 2 or 3), embedded in the south wall of a sealed chamber (accessible only with the bridge), is an "invisible" 1-pixel object referred to as the gray dot. One must "bounce" the player cursor along the bottom wall to "grab" the dot. Then take it below the golden castle a wall will then become invisible and the player can walk through and see the Creators name. -
Zork
Zork was revolutionary because it was really the text advenutre that everyone remembers -

Gameboy was the start of handheld gaming really and Nintendo did a really good job they had games coming out that weren't terrible quality such as pokemon -

Doom was a revolutionary game because it was one of the first extremely sucsessful first person shooters (FPS) -
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat was a revolutionary game because it gave Australia a reason to have a rating system. -
Ledgend of Zelda: Ocorina of Time
Ocorina of Time was revolutionary because nobody talked too much in the game there was really only 3 lines Hey! Look! and Listen! and yet the game still realy grabbed you and made you feel for the characters and really made you wanna kick Gannons butt. -
Minecraft
Minecraft is revolutionary because it put indie developers in a respectable spot and shows that indie developers can really take off and become extremely sucsessful. -
Angry Bird
Although gaming on IOS isn't really classified as gaming, Angry Birds paved the way for many IOS games, it showed the potential of the hand held device -
Mortal Kombat 9
Yet again a Mortal Kombat striking contriversy being banned in Australia and then later on would be on of the main causes for the R18+ Rating -
L.A Noire
The game itself was pretty awesome but thats not what I am talking about. The 32 MotionScan cameras that were used to get all facial details for the games parts where you have to find out if the character is lying.
