With much success, Sony then released the Playstation 2 gaming console with games like Grand Theft Auto, Madden NFL and Final Fantasy becoming a few of the most popular played games at the time. -

This was an epic year for gamers like myself because we were finally getting the release of Sony's PlayStation VR, which meant gamers would be able to play games like The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Resident Evil: Biohazard in virtual reality. With this invention users could feel like they were actually in the game playing as the main character. This type of gaming experience can allow the player to feel as though they are living in another world completely.
