    The magnavox odyssey was the first offical home console. it had no sound and bad graphics, but still sold lots around the world due to the fact that the brown box was becoming outdated.

    the pong unit was a small home system that played the popular arcade game pong at home. Its was so sucseesful because the arcade game pong was played by many and people didnt want the hassle of going to the arcade.
  • The Coleco Telstar Arcade

    The Coleco Telstar Arcade was the main wheel gaming console. it was able to play pong and a very earliy version of racing. It also had a gun game with all the controlers built in.
  • The Vectrex

    One of the first 8 bit console it used vector graphics and had a large monitor to use the 8 bit system. it sold for $199. Its was developed from the same consept as a army radar but made smaller and less complex.

    This console used a gun to play its games such as a simple space shooter and hunting game it was superior to the nes in tech and sold more as well. But didnt have lots of games for it . It was also Segas first try at a game console.

    This consloe was a leading console for 16 bit graphics and displayed 256 coulors. it also had a full sound track and voice overs.
