1604: Galileo wrote The Operations of the Geometrical and Military Compass, which showed his findings in experiments and his skills in technological applications. Month and day unknown.

July 1609: Galileo took a design of a telescope and made it into one of his own.

Galileo published The Starry Messenger, a small booklet containing more proof that the planets rotated around the sun, as well as the fact that Jupiter has its own moons.
