  • George Washington gives a message to the French

    George Washington was ordered to give a message to the French that told them to get off of the territory but the French general rejected it.
  • Washington resigned

    After George Washington surrendered Fort Necessity he was blamed for the loss so he resigned.
  • The French Capture Ft. Duquesne

    The British General, Braddock, was defeated by the French and the French captured Ft. Duquesne.
  • War is Declared

    Britain and France declare war on one another.

  • British take Louisbourg

    The British took Louisbourg which opened up a route to Canada.
  • The British Recapture Ft. Duquesne

    After the British made peace with some Native Americans, they manged to recapture Ft. Duquesne and they named it "Pittsburgh".

  • The British take Quebec

    The British attacked the French in Quebec and they won. This helped the British win the whole war.

  • The British take Canada

    After the British took Montreal, the French had to leave and all of Canada belonged to the British.
  • The Treaty of Paris

    The British won the war and they created the Treaty of Paris. It said that everything east to the Mississippi River belonged to the British. The French had to give everything to the west of the Mississippi River to the Spanish.
