    There was much debate on the voting of The Declaration, Ultimately the Second Continental Congress agreed to the Declaration and signed it in the Pennsylvania State house
  • Article of Confederation are Ratified

    The continental Congress had adopted Articles of Confederation of the United States. but the Ratification of the articles by all thirteen states did not occur until March 1 1781
  • The Winter at Valley Forge

    It was the first winter encampment where the men had to build their own huts a lot of people died at Vally Forge due to sickness.

    Was a major land and sea operation which ultimately ended up with the British being cornered and forced to surrender, It has marked the end of the Revolution and the birth of the United States Of America

    The founders set the terms for ratifying the Constitution and and held special ratifying conventions in each state, Ratification of the 9 of 13 states enacted the new government

    The inauguration was important because this was our first president. It was held on the balcony of Federal hall in New York City

    Was a letter written by George Washington near the end of his Second term it was written to his "friends and fellow citizens" before he retired to his home in Mount Vernon.
  • The Death of George Washington

    at Mount Vernon George Washington passed away, He was 67, He died of throat infection he was later buried in the family vault at Mount Vernon four days later.
