The murder of Emmett Till was one of the events that sparked the civil rights movement. He was a teenage african american boy who was visiting his relatives in the south. People in North were harsh to racism but he didn't know how bad it was. One day he was walking and a woman claimed that he whistled at her. Two white males murder Emmett Till badly. -

The Montgomery Bus Boycott was another spark to the Civil Rights movement after the WW2. This event was about a activist named Rosa Parks, who refused to yield her seat to a white man. The boycott of the Montgomery Bus began on the day of Park's court hearing and lasted 381 days. -
