The Governer didn't want African Americans to go to the university of alabama so he stood infront of the doorway causing many people to surround. John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas while riding in a car in Dealey Plaza. When he was shot he died almost instantly. They continued to drive the president to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Kennedy was fatally shot at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, shortly after winning the California presidential primaries in the 1968 election. The Nixon Doctrine was put forth during a press conference in Guam by Nixon. The Doctrine argued for the pursuit of peace through a partnership with American allies. President Gerald Ford was shot at as he was leaveing the Saint Francis Hotel in San Francisco, California.
