Alabam University Admits Two Black Students
Govenor of Alabama, George Wallace stoayed in front of the schoolhouse door of The University of Alabama n June 11th of 1963. This was ana attempt to stop desegregation of that university by trying to exterminate the enrollement of two african american students. These students, Vivian Malone and James Hood. They were confronted by federal marshalls to stop their admittance thats when the govenor stepped aside and allowed the students into the university.

Assasination of JFK
Kennedy was on a trip to Texa in November. At about 12:30 his motorcade through the downtown part of Dallas when departing from the airport. During his trip he was shot in the head. Shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, JFK was pronounced dead.. (Ch:30Sec:2 The New Frontier and the Great Society) -
Assasination of Rober Kennedy
RFK was assassinated in Los Angeles by Sirhan. He was shot while walking through the Ambassadors hotel kitchen. He was shot after he was announced to become a candidate for the U.S. president. Roberts death caused a lot of conspiracies just like his brothers assassination. -
U.S.A. lands on the moon
The Apollo 11 of the United States was the first manned mission aircraft to land on the Moon in June of1969. There have been only six manned U.S. landings and numerous unmanned landings on the moons surface, though no landings have occurred since 1976. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to walk on the moons surface due to the Apollo 11 mission. -

This is when the US governent sent over the U.S. ping pong team over to China. They arrived with President Nixon: who was there to discuss deals with the chinese government. Both governments ping pong teams played against one another in order to gain pease among the governments. -

Some men were hired by the Nixon re-election team who broke into the Democratic headquarters at the newly established Watergate hotel to get info that they could use in the election. Later on the story is released and Nixon is blamed. He then Resigns from presidency. -

The Communists invaded the south of Vietnam, that angered the Americans causing them to invaded Vietnam and the main part of the war started, Both sides had many losses when the Americans pulled back out of the war. A war that they should'nt be involved in. -

During the 1970's people got obsessed with their innerselves. Causing the read books and go to seminars about meditation. Then someone introduced althetics as a soothing innerself activity, such as jogging. Thats when the world turned to jogging and it became a trend. -
