The hippies were young groups ( 18-35 ) rejecting the elders culture and standards for an alternative culture of their own. The Hippie movement started in San Francisco, California and spread across the United States. Some of their beliefs were free love, free spirit, drugs, peace and music.

Nixon eventually turned the tapes over after many conversations were deleted. After the watergate scandal Nixon knew he was going to be impeached so he chose to resign presidency.
