Elvis was staying at Forrest's house one day and saw how Forrest was dancing. He danced differently because of his legs. Elvis was playing songs while Forrest danced. Later they saw Elvis dancing just how Forrest was when Elvis stayed at their house. -
Elvis Presley "Hound Dog" Released
Elvis just released his new song "Hound Dog" and was dancing how Forrest did in front of him in private. Forrest's mom and himself were not happy. Forrest could not really use his legs when he was dancing in front of Elvis. -

They got to meet J.F.K. because they were the best American college football team. This scene was great because everyone else was super polite to the president, but when it came Forrest's turn all he had to say was, "I gotta pee." -

Everyone was gather around a school when blacks wanted to go to a school with whites. When a lady drops her book, Forrest goes pick it up and return it to the nice lady. -
President Kennedy was Assassinated
President Kennedy was shot and killed while driving somewhere after his speech in Texas. He was taken to the hospital where then he was announced dead. -

Forrest decides to be in the military and then is deployed to Vietnam to fight in the war. -
Forrest Saves the Members of His Platoon in Battle
Forrest is told to run when they are being attacked in Vietnam, until he realizes that Bubba is not behind/beside him. Therefore, he goes running back towards danger looking to find Bubba and bring him to safety. Every time he goes looking for Bubba he finds another one of his soldier friends in need and helps them, then goes running back to find Bubba. He saved many before they got blown up. -
Forrest Discovers Ping-Pong
Forrest is recovering after getting shot with a bullet in the butt. While he is resting his injured butt, he is asked by a fellow soldier if he has ever played ping-pong. Forrest has never played ping-pong or known about it, but turns out to be amazing at the game. That is when he was first introduced. -
Robert F. "Bobby" Kennedy was Assassinated
After his brother was assassinated (President J.F.K), Robert F. Kennedy was then also assassinated. He was going to run for President and that is when he was killed. Both Kennedy's were at that point gone. -
Forrest Receives Medal of Honor and Meets President L.B.J.
Forrest was given a Medal of Honor for what he had done in the Vietnam War. He was able to meet J.F.K. and now L.B.J. This time instead of mentioning having to pee, he shows the President his wounded butt. When you ask Forrest to do something he will complete his orders. So when President L.B.J. asked about his wound and wanting to see it, that is just what Forrest did. -

The first two people to land on the moon, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin.They were aboard Apollo 11 and were the first people of the U.S. to land on the moon. -

Forrest was a part of the U.S. Table Tennis Team of the military. He was a really good table tennis player (ping-pong) and made it a passion. He competed in China and had became very famous for many different things. -

Forrest and Lt. Dan Celebrate New Year's Eve in New York
Forrest is in New York for a talk show and Lt. Dan shows up. Lt. Dan is not in the best of state/mind. He is still dealing with having no legs. They both celebrate New Year's Eve together and then two girls show up. Lt. Dan and one of the girls were making out. The other one tried to make out with Forrest but he wouldn't and nicely pushed her back. Then she called Forrest stupid and Lt. Dan kicked them out because Lt. Dan will never allow anyone to call Forrest stupid. -

George Wallace is running for Democratic candidate (President) and was shot 5 times by Arthur Bremer. -

Forrest got a reward for his Ping-Pong skills. The whole U.S. Ping-Pong Team was invited to the white house because of their success. Then President Nixon gives him a room at the Watergate Hotel. -
Birth of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
Forrest started the Shrimp company that Bubba and him talked about. Forrest took what was left of the (about) $25,000 that he had been given from his Ping-Pong fame, and made Bubba's plan happen. He got the boat and everything they needed to start their shrimp business. Not to mention, Forrest gave half the money he earned from their business (once it got started) to Bubba's family. Forrest always keeps a promise which is why he started the business and gave half to Bubba's family. -
Nixon Resigns from Office
After Nixon took part in the Watergate Scandal, he resigned from office before he could be impeached. Nixon was going to be impeached but decided to resign before they could. -
Hurricane Carmen Struck Louisiana
Forrest and Lt. Dan were on the boat searching for Shrimp when a Hurricane hit them. They were the only boat who survived the Hurricane while others got badly damaged. After that they found a lot of shrimp getting a lot of money. -
Forrest Gets Call that His Mother is Sick
Forrest gets a call while he is on the boat (Jenny), telling him that his mother is sick. When he hears that he jumps off the boat to go see his mom. When he gets there she tells Forrest that she is dying. He asked why and she explained that it was just her time. "Death is a part of life" and "life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get." -
Forrest Starts Running
Forrest starts running for no reason and keeps running for "3 years, 2 months and 14 days and six hours." At the same time President Carter collapses of heat exhaustion when he was running in a race/marathon. When Carter collapses, Forrest starts his long run for no purpose except to run. -

Lt. Dan could have invested Forrest's money in Apple Computer that just went public. -

Forrest gets a letter from Jenny and is waiting for a bus to take him to her house/apartment. While he is waiting at the bus stop, he is telling his whole life's story. She asked him to come see her and meet her at her house/apartment. -

Forrest had been running for "3 years, 2 months and 14 days and 6 hours" and then sudden;y stopped. He mentioned that he felt tired and was ready to go home. That day he just stopped running with no explanation and was finally ready to head back home. -
Jenny Dies
Jenny Dies after getting married to Forrest. They had a child and his name is Forrest, or as Forrest calls him (Little Forrest). She died from AIDS after having their child. Jenny got AIDS because she got back into her addiction and shared needles when she had a moment of weakness.
