Forest said he was named after Nathan Bedford Forrest who was the founder of the Ku Klux Klan. The KKK was made to injure and "put" blacks back into the place of slaves. Though many of them were killed, it was to show that they were not joking.

Forest went to U of A at the time Segregation began and he didn't realize it was happening. Most of the school was whites and they didn't want to be in the same room as blacks. The president put out a law that was to help stop segregation.

Forest first saw the color TV when he was a kid and had losst his mother. The color Tv gave many people the experience to see the world in a new way. The color TV was made to help people enjoy the world of color.

Forest meets Elvis when he was staying at his house. Forest shows Elvis his way of dancing which becomes the dance "The Cage". Elvis takes Forest's dance and uses it make it "big" in the music world.

Forest is sent to fight in the war and he left Jenny behind. Forest fought in the war to the end and met many new people. One person Forest met, Bubba, became his best friend.

Forest saw the moon landing while he was watching TV. The moon landing ended the Space Race. Many people watched as the impossible became the possible.

Forest say hm on the TV and saw his death. JFK was well liked but there was one person who thought otherwise. JFK was shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald.
