The last substantive amendment to the Utah Nurse Practice Act was July 8, 2010. Nurses are expected to demonstrate responsible nursing practice by following the laws and regulations stated in the Nurse Practice Act. The roles of the RN are clearly defined and promote professionalism, collaboration, and leadership. Sandra R.
