Tohmas Jefferson whent to war with Tripoli because their navy increased their size so they went to war for 4 years. They then made a peace treaty and a result of war and speacial funds increased they U.S. navy size

Lousiana Purchase

Thomas Jefferson made some land become part of the U.S. but Frence owned the land. It sold for 15 million dollars. Lewis and Mark whent on an expidition to explore the land. They got all or part of 15 states .

Battle Of Tippecanoe

James Maddison pushed Idians of their land and replaced the idians with white settlers. This presidential policy effected America by giving the white settlers more land.

Monroe Doctrine

James Monroe warned European Anarchy that if they came they would get a strong message from America. This was to shape foreign policy to this very day.

Tariff Abomination

John Quincy Adams approved the Tariff of Abominations to make foreign goods more expensive. South ended up paying more for manufactured goods.

Indian Removal Act

President Jackson made indians move away from their own farm land then go to the native lands. He aslo picked 15000 indian to go to miltary stock aids. this created the Trail of Tears. And the land that the indians had went to the U.S.
