T.R. was born healthy with no complications. He grew up in India with his family. He works as a computer programer, where he met S.R. -
Mom (S.R)
S.R. was born a happy, healthy baby. She grew up in India, like T.R. She enjoys reading and taking walks. She is also a computer programer. -
S.R. and T.R. get married
S.R.and T.R. met at work as computer programmers. They had a traditional Indian wedding with many family and friends in attendance. -
Moving to America!
After getting married, T.R. and S.R. moved from India to Milwaukee, WI. It was a difficult decision to leave their the place they both grew up and all their family and friends, but they also saw what great opportunities that were ahead for them. -
Move to Green Bay
After spending 2 years living in Milwaukee, adjusting to life to in America, T.R. recieved a job opportunity in Green Bay. Luckily, S.R. was able to get a similar computer programming job, as well. T.R. and S.R. decided Green Bay would be a good place to raise a family and they began the next adventure of their life! -
It's a Girl!
T.R. and S.R. welcomed a baby girl, M.R. to the world! M.R. was born with a congenital heart defect, pulmonary atresia. At birth, M.R. underwent surgery to recieve a shunt to help increase pulmonary blood flow. Surgery went well and T.R. and S.R. were eager to bring M.R. home and begin their family. -
Trip to India
M.R. had undergone various cardiac surgeries, but continued to grow up a happy, healthy girl. During summer vacation, the family took a trip to India to visit friends and relatives. It was M.R.'s first time getting to see where her mom and dad grew up. Extra caution was taken to ensure M.R. was well enough to go on the trip. -
Temple
An important event to the family is attending temple each week to worship. It is an opportunity to interact with others while embracing their culture. -
Summer Vacation
The family spent a lot of time at the beach the summer. M.R. enjoys swimming and being in the sun. -
5th Grade
M.R. starts 5th grade! After a fun summer break, she's eager to get back to school to see her friends. Her favorite class is literature, because she loves to read books; her favorite is The Hunger Games. -
Surgery
M.R. continued to grow up a happy and healthy girl. She experienced a few set backs because of her congenital heart disorder, but for the majority did not miss out on living a normal life. It was expected that she would outgrow the conduit repair improving the pulmonary circulation, so it was time to get a replacement conduit. Surgery went well and M.R. will make a full recovery! -
Baby #2 on the Way
The family is exicted to announce that baby #2 is supposed to arrive in Februrary. Everyone is anxious and eager for the newest member of the family. Mom has been experiencing a healthy pregnancy without any complications so far! M.R. is especially excited to be a big sister!
