picture of the Black DeathThe black death comes and whipes out 25million people which is 1/3 of the population, this is extreamly important because this diese killed a remarkable amount of people, therefore changing the course of history. it also gave the doctors more experiance helping them to learn more on how to treat different dieseses. the Black death also gave awarness to the people of Europe. the poeple are now aware of what the diesese is and how quickly it can spread. -

Long lost map of Ptolomey is found
Ptolomey drew a map of the world in the second century. it was lost and later found in 1406 A.D. this map was extreamly important because it became the most acurate map of the world. this made exploration much easier. it also would help explorors find their destonation easier and to discover other destinations easier. -

Guttenberg bible is printed
In 1440 the guttenberg bible is printed using movable type. this is a huge advancement because books began to be printed inexpensivly. this will help important information travel quickly and effectivly. it will keep people in the loop and will also help the advancement on new inventions because poeple will be able to comunicate ideas more effectivly. -

in 1442 the first auction of black slaves occoured. this is crutial because the selling of black slaves continued for many more years. slaves were a huge part of the development of America. they were the reason for many wars. Slaves started a new convinance for the Whites because they no longer had to do the "hard labor". -

this is an important even because the city of Constantinolpe was very important in history. it helped to spread the religion of Christianity. not only was this even important to the Christian religion but it also was importanrt bevause it marked the begining of the Renaissance. Columbus dicovers the new world
in 1492 Christopher Columbus dicovers the "new world" the west indies and he also discovers that compasses change in direction as the longitude changes. Columbus's dicovery of the new world is extreamly important because this is new land for europe. it means new settlemnts and even more advances. in 1492 Leonardo Da Vinci began to draw plans for a flying machine. this is the start of a whole new form of transportation which will change the outlook on travel and time. -

in 1493 Columbus discovers that the native americans use tobacco as medicine. this is a big advanncement because Columbus can take this discovery back to Europe. this idea of using tobacco for medicine is huge because it can potentially cure many poeple. This could also help to create new medicens. -

Amerigo Vespucchi dicovers that south America is not appart of Asia as he is sailing along the coast of South American in 1499. this is an amazing discovery because the Europeans now relize that they have discovered a whole new landmass. this means different plant life, animals, and people. This is a huge discovery and will continue to grow. -

in 1507 a new map of America is created and is called American in honor of Amerigo Vespucchi. this is very important because the name America is still used in our country today. the map itself is im portant aswell because this will make it easier for explorers to travel around the new country of America. When the Eurpeans came to America the also brought their dieses to the natives. because the Natives were not used to these forign dieses the native people were dieing. This dieses killed many of the natives making it easier for the Europeans to settle in this new land they found. this made it very hard for the Natives to fight off the Europeans and defend ttheir land. therefore the Natives began to fade away as the Euopreans continued to conquer and steel land. -

in 1606 dutch explorers discover Australia. this is very important because the dutch have discovered a new country and continent. this continent was later used to control the crowded prisoner issue in Englind which helped the country of Australia to grow. this is the start of another new government and sociaty. -
jamestown is established
in 1607 the settlemnt of Jamestown Virginia was established. this is the next step to creating the country so many now call home. Jamestown was really the first settlement that lasted and was sucessful. the settlement of Jamestown is a huge part of American history because it marked the first place where europeans lived in America. -
Galileo buillds first telescope
in 1609 Galileo built the first telescope. this is the bigining of the idea of what is in space. now that people have discovered most of what is on earth they have to curiosity of what could be in space. the telescope was not only used to look up into space but also to see farther out into the ocean which is what sailor and explorers needed. this helped them to watch for pirates, and other harmful ships or landmasses. -
Santa Fe and Quebec discovery
in 1610 the spanish founded Santa Fe in Mexico. The french began to establish the colony of Quebec. this is very important because this is the begining of Canada and Mexico. the founding of these citys still exist today. -
why did I choose these events?
I chose these events because I think that they are very important and highlight the most important parts of hisory from the 1300s to the 1700s. Each dot covers the most important event and gives a good idea of what important things happened in history. they show epedemics that killed many people, revolutions, and discoverys of new land. they pin point the most important people of that time and explain what they did to contribuutte to history.
