    Magnavox Odyssey
    The Magnavox Odyssey was the first game console ever made. It was made in 1972 and manufactured by Magnavox. The game systems appearance looked like a brown box with a wire going from the system to the analog stick box. There were cartridges that one could put into the game system to play a game. The only two games that could be played on the Magnavox Odyssey were golf and a shoot the targets game. This was amazing to people at the time because no one had seen anything like it.

    This game system is a black and brown box with a joystick box with a button on it. The Atari 2600 Jr. was a big improvement to the Magnavox Odyssey.     The Nintendo 64DD is one of the first game systems where someone could create there own level and world. This game was called creator. The form that the games came in was a cartridge, which one would insert into the very top of the game system. In order to play this game thought you would need the controller that plugs into the system.

    The PlayStation 2 Slimline got its name because of the size of it. It is very small and not wide at all. This appearance gave it its name slim. The PlayStation 2 Slimline takes disks into the slot in the front of the system. There can be controllers that plug into the system. This console also has a perk that you can plug two controllers into the device. There are hundreds of games that can be played on this console. It was a big improvement from the Nintendo 64DD.

There are hundreds of games that you can play on this console. As you can see there has been many improvements throughout time on game consoles.
