A book is a medium for recording information in the form of writing or images, usually made up of many pages (papyrus, parchment, vellum, or paper) bound together and protected by a cover. As a student, I do find that books build a very significant part of my life because not only are they sources of information and media, but they benefit the human mind and mentality as well, in addition, reading is in fact one of my favorite hobbies to do during my free time.

Television, which is sometimes shortened to television or telly, is a telecommunications medium used to transmit moving images in monochrome or in color and in two or three dimensions and sound. Television is a great way of presenting information as it helps the audience visualize and not only imagine the data, they are receiving in my opinion. With television, we are being more and more exposed to media unlike books that cannot be update seeing as it is imprinted on paper and can't be changed.

A computer is a machine that can be instructed to perform arithmetic or logical operation sequences automatically via computer programming. Modern computers have the ability to track generalized sets of operations called programs. Computers are definitely such a huge helper in my opinion, they provide the user with so much services and functions that cellphones don't have the power to do. In addition, they have a lot of storage which helps me as a student with my files and documents for school.

The web browser is a software application to access information on the World Wide Web. When a user requests a web page from a particular web site, the web browser will retrieve the necessary content from a web server and then display the page on the user's device. From my view, web browsers are highly significant especially when searching for specific information and it has helped me a lot in school. It only requires you to type a few words and it will send you several pages about those words.

Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld game console developed and produced by Nintendo. The console features a dull dot matrix screen with a contrast dial, five control buttons for a single speaker with adjustable volume dial. I have owned a game boy before and it truly was an amazing experience for me. Whenever I couldn't do anything or was bored, I would often play on my game boy and play some games on it just to erase my lack of energy and bored-ness. It really holds a place in my heart and mind.

A web service is a server running on a computer device, listening to requests on a particular network port, saving web documents, and creating web application services that solve specific domain problems on the web. Web services such as yahoo is an amazing service as it allows me to access daily news, articles and even other information that I need and even gives me the option to save them. Services like yahoo are the combination of books and newspapers that are accessible at all times.

YouTube is an application that allows users to upload, view, rate, share, add playlists, report, comment on videos, and subscribe to other users. It offers a wide range of user-generated and corporate media videos. I really love YouTube and use it almost everyday actually. YouTube helps me keep up with the news and daily information about topics that I may not be aware of. In addition, on YouTube I am often presented with many videos that could educate and entertain me which is very good.

Friendster was a social networking service based in Mountain View, California, founded by Jonathan Abrams, launched in March 2003. Later on, the company became a social gaming site based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I personally have never used Friendster, but based all of the reviews of those who used, they say that it was a reliable site to use in order to communicate with their loved ones and to just simply catch up with them through the internet.

Facebook is an American online social media and social networking service and can be accessed from Internet connectivity devices such as personal computers, tablets and smartphones. After registration, users can create a profile that reveals information about themselves. Facebook is a social networking application that I frequently use, mostly for school purposes and informational purposes as well but it is also an amazing tool for communication, status updates, games and many more.

Twitter is an American microblogging and social networking service where users post and interact with messages known as "tweets" Registered users can post and retweet tweets, but unregistered users can only read them. I use twitter often; I find it very helpful in finding daily news around the world. It helps keep me updated and I find that I can communicate with others on there a lot also I find that I can express my opinions about issues and topics on there easier and better than on Facebook.

Facebook Messenger is a U.S. messaging app and platform developed by Facebook, Inc. Users can send messages and exchange photos, videos, stickers, audio and files as well as react to messages from other users and interact with bots. The service also supports voice and video calls. Probably the most useful of all, through Messenger I get to connect with my friends and family, video call them, play games with them and even watch movies with them due to its high-tech and amazing features.

Wattpad is a website and an app for authors to publish new user-generated stories. It aims to create social communities around stories for both amateur and well-established writers. I personally really this application because it allows me to make friends and connect with people of the same interest as I am. To add, my vocabulary and imaginative skills are improving because of the amount of reading that I do on this application.

Skype is a telecommunications application that specializes in providing video chat and voice calls between computers, tablets, mobile devices, etc. I have used Skype before, particularly whenever I would call my dad when he is in other countries. I would talk with over Skype calls and message him and just tell him what is happening. The quality of Skype calls aren't the best quality but it's acceptable and at least it makes the communication process easier for me and my family.

iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are smartphones designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. They also feature a 5.85-inch OLED display with dual 12-megapixel rear cameras and a 7-megapixel front-facing camera. i may not own these phones but I have an iPhone 6 that holds similar features and functions well overall, but it does have limitations as well. However, it allows me to communicate with others and provides specific apps that allow me to access media and connect with others through them.

The iPhone 12 is a smartphone designed, developed and distributed by Apple Inc. It's the 14th generation, lower-priced iPhone. Major upgrades to iPhone 11 include the addition of Super Retina XDR OLED, 5G support, the introduction of MagSafe and many more. I own an older version from Apple but based on the reviews I saw about this phone, this phone's good. The upgrades do intrigue me and actually allow the user to have a safer but more enjoyable experience with media which is great I think.
