Proclamation of 1763

The proclamation of 1763 was a a settlement isseued by the british to indians whitch was a temorary boundary between them. which is really good for the british because they just got out of a war and didnt want to spend more money on protecting the coloneys. but they still taxed the colonys.

Stamp Act

The stamp act in basically the taxation that happened on every printed paper. which can actully cost a lot of money with the fact they they almost pay all other taxes for everything they buy.

Sugar Act

Apr 5, 1764

The suger act was the taxsion and how the people react to it. the british taxed the colonyes for almost everything that was shiped to them. the colonies didnt like it and really wanted to do something about it.

Declaratory Act

Mar 18, 1766

After the coloneys reapel the stamp act the british wore not happy at all with what they did and they stated that the Parliament can do what ever it want.

Boston Massacre

Mar 5, 1770

A group of Bostonians started to attack the British troops in the city. it started to become worse and worse they started to shoot at the troops. The attack generates outrage among the colonists, who come to call it the Boston Massacre.

Tea Act

May 10, 1773

The reasion why people in boston did the tea act was becuase the british taxed them in every thing speacily tea and the coloneys asked them to lower the taxes but they wouldnt. so some people decided to take the tea without paying taxes or anything at all. which in responsce made Massachusetts pay all the taxes they owed for the tea.

First Continental Congress

The First Continental Congress met in 1774 in reaction to the Coercive Acts. because the britsh wont stop taxing them more than the british them selfs which is all what the coloneys wanted at that time untill it became a bigger issue.
