Vietnam was spilt into North and South like Korea. The North was communist and the South was not. The US helped the South hold an election for one government so that the communists wouldn't win. The US also helped South Vietnam not be taken over from the North Vietnam.

The Bay of Pigs was an invasion into Cuba. Cuba was getting out of hand with their power and realtionship to the Soviets. The Brigade 2506 invaded the beaches of the Bay of Pigs and the plan failed miserably. Things started to go wrong right after another and the Cubans started firing back and destroying defense systems.

The Berlin Wall went up to blockade Berlin from the rest of Germany. East and West Berlin were divided and could no longer use the resources from each side.
