Colonist were not happy they where being told to house Britsh soldiers in their homes. First off the colonist.didn't want the British soldiers in the colonies, but then they weren't asked they were told they must house the soldiers in their own homes.

Tension was building after Britian passed the Stamp Act and made the colonist pay taxes for all items brought in from the Boston Harbor.

By this time colonist were getting very angry about British control of the colonial tea trade. So in return the colonist came up with the Boston Tea Party, where the colonist all dressed up in costumes most Native American and dumbed 342 chests of tea into the harbor.

On this day in history, 700 British soldiers met a group of minutemen in the battle of Lexington and Concord. The minutemen had triumph over Britian and thus the Revolution began.
