  • the Treaty Of Versailles

    Wilson wanted to make a 14 point treaty, in hopes to bring peace. Germany had to pay war reparations and was blamed for starting world war 1
  • failure of League Of Nations

    the whole world was hit by a depression, the economy failed, trade was reduced and businesses were failing. when Japan was hit in 1931 the League of Nations told countries to stop trading with them.
  • Adolf Hitler

    Hitler started secretly building up Germany's army in hopes of taking back land.
  • regimes

    Hitlers regime was created, this meant that no citizen was garunteed basic rights
  • Hitler becomes a totalitarian leader

    Hitler unofficially transitions from a democratic chancellor to a totalitarian dictator
  • Appeasement

    Britain and France noticed that some of the restrictions placed on Germany were unreasonable. Hitler argued that Germany was under threat and so they gave in on some of the restirctions
  • Germany's annexation in Austria

    Nazi Germany finished its annexation in Austria. Austria becomes the first country to be invaded on Hitlers regime
  • The war begins

    Nazi Germany invades Poland's capital, within weeks of the attack German forces defeat
