    October 21, 1726 opens printing shop.
    November 17, 1734 Zenger is arrested on charges of printing and publishing seditios libel; Zenger's lawyers are disbarred "If the statement is in writing or some other permanent form it is seditious libel. A statement is seditious if it 'brings into hatred or contempt' the Queen or her heir."
    The trial is held and Zenger is found ''Not guilty."

    The French and Indian war started in 1754. It was the French and Native Americans versus the American Colonists and the British army.The French were concerned that the American Colonists were taking over their land and the resources that were there. The war ended in 1763, and the French ceded their land to the colonies. This war cost England a lot of money.

    There was a time when the Quartering Act took place. Soldiers needed a house, food , and money. They relied on the citizens of the colony to take care of the soldiers and provide them with goods. The citezens were required to take responsibility of the soldiers. It made the colonists mad because they felt like the soldiers werent thier responsiblity

    America, except in the area of the foreign trade. Probably the boldest act of the Congress was to set up the Continental Association. This agreement bound the colonists not to trade with Britain or use British goods until British trade and taxation policies had been changed.     Tomas Jefferson made the Declaration of Independence in July 4, 1776 in Philadalpia. The Declaration said rules and basic laws for the U.S.A. All of the people of congress signed the Declaration. Then we had rules and laws. The Declaration happened because the congress diecided to make the laws to have freedom and it happend on the 4 of July.
