    Britain prohibitited settlemetn beyond the Appalachian Mountains and many colonists took offense to that order.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    Parliament of Great Britian passed the Sugar Act to raise revenue so they increased duties on the sugar that was imported from the West Indies.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act was all paper items such as the newspaper, playing cards, magazines..etc has to have a stamp on it. The Stamp Act was created to pay for the British troops that were stationed in North America after their victory in the Seven Years War.
  • Townshend Acts

    Townshend Acts
    It was a series of 4 acts that were passed by the British Parliment to exert authourity of the colonies. The acts were named after Charles Townshend who supported the British American colonies.
  • Boston Massacre

    The tea was to be shipped to the colonies and sold at bragian price.
  • Boston Tea Party

    A political protest done by the Sons of Liberty. They dressed up like indians boarded the ships and through crates of tea into the Boston Harbor.
