  • Hitler becomes Fuhrer of Germany

    90 percent of votes went to Hitler out of the 95 percent of registered voters. 38 million people gave Hitler their approval.
  • Mussolini Invades Ethiopia

    Mussolini invaded Ethiopia because he wanted an easy win before he tried taking over any other countries.
  • Germany and Italy form the Rome-Berlin Axis treaty.

    An agreement formulated by Italy’s foreign minister Galeazzo Ciano informally linking the two fascist countries.
  • Germany and Japan sign the Anti-Comintern Pact.

    This was a pact against communism and Russia.

    This initiated World War II in the Pacific.
  • Hitler annexes the country of Austria into Germany.

    This is also called the Anschluss.

    This states that even though they didn't like each other that they would not attack each other.
