Emmett had asked his uncle to let him visit, and after several failed attempts, he said yes, not if he warned that it was very dangerous and that he had to do whatever a target told him to avoid the problems. Emmett as a great person wanted to defend his rights to whatever and for which he was brutally murdered. His case has served as o the civil rights movement.
