Where it all began - THE INTERNET
Nowadays, everything is on the interent, so obviously we had to begine by using it.
Thie internet was/is the first stop for the whole processof crontsruction, research planning and the evaluation (including this one) -

BLOGGER
Blogger is the blogging platform which I have used to document the whole process of researching, planning and evaluation for the music video and ancillary work.
It has been useful for me and my teachers to see how far I've come from the beginning of this unit to now, and how not only the ideas, but the skills of me and my group have developed through the past couple of months.
I have also received teacher feedback through blogger -
GOOGLE
Google is a search engine and has been used throughout the whole process of this unit. It has enabled me to find all different sources of information about things such as genre, album reviews and ancillary refences. Google is the heart of my research and planning stages mostly. -
YOUTUBE
Youtube is a video sharing social media website what I used for the research and contruction stages of this project. To find the song : 'Evolution Of Man' Myself and my group went on an hour hunt on youtube after our original choice - 'Kickstarts' had to be changed.
I also used it in a time of need when I got stuck on how to do a certain effect on final cut pro. -
GMAIL
Gmail was used to enable me to use sites like instagram, twitter, timetoast etc. As they needed email adressses to sign up.
It was also used for contact between starbucks for filming permission.
and for clearance from the music label to use the song 'Evolution Of Man' -
VIMEO
Vimeo is a video sharing website, used for more finished videos and short movies etc It was the perfect place for us to publish the music video for out new artist. As just uploading it on youtube it could easily be dismissed as amature homemade video.
It also helped in the research/planning part of the project as It is where the past media students uploaded their videos and I looked at many of them and analysed them for strengths and weaknesses and inpiration for our video. -
POLYVORE
In the planning section and Pitch this was used by me to research current trends and plan the outfits for the music video.
It enabled me to create a good brand image as the artist is a pop/dance artist we wanted him to look relateable to the audience. -
MOODBOARD
Moood Board was used simply to create the artist moodboard in the planning section of this project and we wanted a visual combination of ideas and colours to reference -
MICROSOFT WORD
Microsoft word was used when I created the audience profile.
It is a word processing programm that has enabled me to plan ideas out clearly before putting them into blogger or prezi -
SOCIAL NETWORKS
To create a brand nowadays you need some kind of online presence, the two most popular social networks for our young adult age range are 'Twitter & Instagram' These enabled us to gain fans and intereact with them and gain an online fanbase for our artist. It helped us get 'Prototypes' name out into the world and beyond the classroom -
TIMETOAST
Time toast is an online timeline website that enabled the group to be organized by us having a production schedule up on an anytime-accesible website. It also elimated confusion about altered events and re-filming even if a person wasn't in the lesson/filming session -
FINAL CUT PRO
I used final cut pro as I was the editor for our group. I really enjoyed using this programme as once you get the hang of it it can make very professional looking videos, everything is clearly labelled and it enabled me to use various effects to set the mood for the video (split screen, fade in/out, black and white vignette effects stc)
THOUGH I did have several problems during the editing process aeg. I was almost done &the program corrupted the file and didn't save it and I had to start tgain -
