Evaluating Decisions

  • Make Decision

This is your choice on a recent decision you had to make.
  • Develop Insight

Evaluate how the decision will effect your future. Will it be long or short term? Also consider if the decision brought about the desired outcome. Having confidence in yourself is also essential to the evaluation process. Lying to yourself can hinder the process, and lead to future bad decisions and evaluations.
  • Appraise the Process

Assess the information that went into making the decision. Was there enough? Was it useful? These questions should be answered to help benefit us in future decision making. Also ponder whether or not emotions played a big role in the decision process. Finally, decide whether or not that everyone whom the decision could affect had a say on the matter.
