    The Treaty of Versailles was one of the peace treaties at the end of WW1. It ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers. The treaty involved most countries although Austria-Hungary was not included in the signing of the treaty.WW2 probably would have been prevented if it weren't for the Treaty of Versailles.

    The Great Depression began due to the stock market crash of 1929. Although that was the popular belief of the cause some believed that it was due to an active debate between economists and apart of a larger debate about economic crisis.

    Violence against jews in Germany begins, the SA attacks jewish shops, jews are forced out of jobs in newspapers and the civil service. Later on German's are told to boycott jewish shops and the prosecution of jews begins.

Hitler had the need for the workers to be on his side although he would not allow trade unions to exert the potential power they had. As a result, trade unions were banned in Nazi Germany.

    The failed Spanish Coup of July 1936 by Nationalists forces, marks the beginning of the Spanish cCivil War. It was widely known in Spain simply as the Civil War or The War. It was fought between the Rebpublicans and the Nationalists. The Nationalists won, and the Franco then ruled Spain for the next 36 years.

    Germany invavded Poland therefore provoking WW2. Nazi Germany occupied the remainder of Poland when it invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941. Poland remained under German occupation until January 1945.
