Mother Teresa's Death
Mother Teresa died on September 5, 1997 from cardiac arrest in her religious orders headquarters in eastern India. She had been fighting heart problems, pneumonia and a few other diseases for several years. She also had another massive heart attack September 1989 and was hospitalized many times after that for six years.
