Students are issued an ipad for educational use at home. The use is tracked by the school/teacher, to insure appropriate sites are accessed. Students complete more assignments than ever and are able to make up credits faster than ever before.
  • Staggered Schedule

A new daily schedule is developed that includes a staggered time for actual presence in the school. Students will continues to take some assessments on site, using technological resources. Most students will come only one day per week for academic guidance. Teachers will have blocked time to meet with students.
  • Non-Removal of Expelled/SARB students

Students are no longer removed from a campus when expelled or deemed habitually truant. There is a special schedule and assigned guidance teacher for each expelled/SARB student on the school site. There is a specific level system to reintegrate the students into the regular school day. Academic and behavior focus builds personal responsibility and ability to attend classes again.
  • Students linked to outside classrooms

When a student is encarcerated in teh Juvenile Hall, he/she will connect through streaming (or whatever has been invented by then) to his/her school and classes. They have individualized learning plans, as do all other students. Teachers at the hall will assist all students in keeping up with their work/assignments from their schools. When they are released, the students go back to classes, with no loss of learning.
