    With the creation of learning management systems (LMS) like Google Classroom and Canvas, students begin seeing more assignments and instructional materials posted in an online setting to be completed digitally. This allowed for more communication and assignment organization both in the classroom and at home.

    New platforms were developed and released allowing for teachers and students to be more creative with projects and assignments. For instance, Flipgrid (2014) allowed for student to make video responses to questions and Adobe (2016) allowed for students to make visual presentations and images for school projects.
