    Reading is a huge part of teaching. Reading was always my favorite subject and it has played a huge role in my life. While I was long-term subbing for my kindergarten class, one of our favorite things to do was to read. My students were always so excited to show me their library books and read them to me. It was our first subject of the day and was often how we ended the day.
