Students will be given the assignment sheet for the project. The assignment sheet will have an overview of the project, it will have a detailed description for all the steps of the project, and it will provide a list of helpful resources for the students.

Each student should have a planet picked by this day that they would like to complete their project on. The students should have 1 written paragraph explaining why they are interested in their selected planet.

Answer the following questions:
What do you know about your planet?
What do you want to know about your planet?
What questions do you have about your planet? -
Students should have 5 sources that contain information about their planet. The sources can relate to what they know, what they want to know, and what they have questions about. These sources should be cited in MLA format. In addition to finding the sources they should be annotated with a 5 sentence description explaining how each source will be used.

Meet with the teacher to review your topic, sources, and plan for creating the presentation for the class.

Students should have their completed slideshow done and be ready to practice presenting their project.

The first 10 students of the alphabet will present their project in a three to five minute presentation to the class.

The last 10 students of the alphabet will present their project in a three to five minute presentation to the class.

Each student will write a 500 word paper reflecting on what they have learned about their chosen planet
