    Gutenberg Press Finalized
    The Gutenberg Press was finalized in 1450, and this was an important event as the Gutenberg press allowed for multiple things. It allowed for the fats spreading of information, improved the literacy rate of the population, and decreased the price of books. All of these things allowed for someone like Luther to spread his message faster and the Gutenberg press is a main reason the reformation was so effective.

    The Spanish Inquisition was a timespan in Spain when people who were suspected of being heretics and were tortured until they admitted to it and converted to Catholicism. This was an important event as it led to the majority of Spain being Catholic and led to the Catholic based vendettas of the Spanish.

    This was an important event because he proved that it was possible to get that far. It was also an important event because Bartholomew mapped the way he got there letting other explorers grow on the route using his maps.

    In 1488 Vasco de Gama reached India. This was an important event because he was the first man from Portugal to fully reach India, collect spices, and bring them back to Europe to sell them. This was important because it allowed Portugal to make money and become rich off of the spice trade.

This is an important event because Luther was able to prove his ideals over the Catholic faith, and led Luther to flee to Germany as well as the increased spreading of Lutheranism

    Thomas Cranmer was burned alive in 1556 under the rule of ‘Bloody Mary’ or Mary Tudor who burned him for admitting to falsely creating Anglicanism and causing the annulment of her parents’ marriage. However, this was an important event because Thomas Cranmer admitted to signing the admission of creating Anglicanism, and said he didn’t mean it which led to consistent belief in Anglicanism.

    This is an important event as the Spanish Armada loses to the English. It is also important because it leads to the destruction of Spain’s title as #1 world power, wastes all of Spain’s money, Spain loses most of it’s army, and it leads to a religious crisis.

    The Edict of Nantes was important in keeping the peace between Huguenots and Catholics and France making it important while it lasted. It is also important that it ended because it shows the absolute power Louis XIV had.

    This was an important event because the Dutch East India company allowed people to buy shares in voyages like stocks and make money. It also allowed the Dutch to make more voyages and take over the spice trade from the Portuguese.
