    Donna J. Haraway was born in Denver, CO on September 6th, 1944. Donna J Haraway was involved in a range of academic and activist projects. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Zoology from the Colorado College in 1966, and went on to complete her PhD in Biology at Yale University in 1972. After completing her doctoral studies, Haraway held a number of academic positions, including at the University of Hawaii and Johns Hopkins University, before joining the History of Consciousness program at UCSC

    Around the 1980’s, 1983 to1985 an essay by Donna J Haraway was created that explores the intersection of feminism, technology, and society.
