Donna Haraway began her education at Colorado college majoring in zoology and philosophy. She continued her studies in Paris and went on to earn her Ph.D. in biology at Yale in 1972. Her dissertation was titled "The Search for Organizing Relations: An Organismic Paradigm in Twentieth-Century Developmental Biology".
