As many knew the war of 1866 was unavoidable, many prepared for it. This war was a fight for the power over Germany. That is when Germany took power over Prussia and made Austria give up all Dominance to it.

In 1866 was the war between Prussia and Austria. Bismark knew that Prussia could not crush, hurt, Austria too severely for some good reasons. Prussia did not want Austria to not be friends with the if they needed them. Also they did not want Austria to become allies with France.
