Beatrice Prior and her brother Caleb is waking to the aptitude test, which is telling them what faction they should choose.
Beatrice's resalutes is unclear and inconclusive, which means that she displays an equal aptitude for Dautness, Abnegation and Erudite. From that moment she always has to be guarded, because the faction, Erudite wants to annihilate Divergents. They proclaim that Divergents are a threat above society and they are intimidated. She can't even tell her family! -
Faction over blood!
What factor will you choose to be your home? Beatrice chooses Dauntless over her born faction and walks out of the room trying to catch a glimpse of her parents. -
The Initiations
In order to be a part of the fra fraction Beatrice and the newcomers have to go through several initiation activities. She has to jump from a train that is moving, and as fearless as she is, she volunteers to jump first from a horrifyingly high building, into the dauntless compound. -
First meeting
After jumping from the building, Beatrice meets her trainer Four, for the first time, but she introduced herself by the name Tris. Beatrice is now called Tris among the dauntless, in her faction.
Four is not approachable when Tris tries to talk to him during dinner. As a response, he expressed ''what makes you think you can talk to me?'' -
Below The Line
According to new rules the teenagers have to fight against each other, and if you are under the rank of 21, you will become factionless. Your old factor would be denied to welcome you back.
Tris is struggling, and suffering below the line, but now she is pulling herself together because she is Divergent! -
Ferris wheel
Tris had been beaten up by the initiations, and her atrociously mean treacher Eric, was enjoying himself. Tris took Al's place to protect him when he ordered Four to throw knives at him. Four had to make her bleed to make him satisfied.
This is the final test and they are playing capture the flag with neuro stim darts, which stimulates the pain of a real gun shot. Tris has the splendid idea to climb up the Ferris wheel to get a better outline with Four, and it results in them winning the game. -
PYSICAL TESTS - DANGER for reveal
Round 2: physical testing, due to the aptitude test that revealed that she is divergent. The only reason she is not dead right now is that Tori changed her result. The empathy comes from Erudite killing her brother.
They have to be solution-oriented meeting their worst fairs. Four was amazed but suspicious by Tris's superb ranking. Always a step ahead of the others. What would happen if he figured it out? -
Bird Tatto
Tris is in the Dauntless night club, when she scrutinizes the woman who warned her and had responsibility for her aptitude test. She was tattooing the teens, and Tris decides to get three birds tattoed on her body - one for each family member, so she can talk to her. Tris is anxious about Four knowing her secret after the simulation and tells Tori..she gives her a worried glance and warns: ''If they know, you are already dead.'' -
Similarities attract
Four knows! Four knows that Tris is Divergent! Luckily he already is infatuated and attracted of her mystery, and Tris now knows he will stay silent, because Four..is Divergent. -
Threatened
Al was feeling desperate due to the competition, and he wasn't himself. One day he joined Peter (who despises Tris) on the mission, where they attempted to kidnap Tris and trow her beyond the chams. Luckily Four comes for the rescue! -
Suicide
Al commits suicide by jumping into the chams, because he couldn't battle the guilt, and he was under the line, so he would be factionless. Tris is feeling this enormous guilt because the last time she saw him, she howled that she never was going to forgive him for what he did. -
Divergent by blood
Tris discovers that her mother has transferred from Dautness to Abnegation and that she is Divergent as well!! -
Attack
Erudite has injected Dauntless, and they are under their command. It's not a surprise that Eric is on the evil side. Fortunately, Tris and Four are not affected by the serum, because they are divergens, but they pretend to be controlled while the divergens muddling around confused, are dying one by one. Erudite is creating an army for an invasion of Abnegation because they want to be in charge. -
Goodbyes
''Legendary Four, you were first in your class, now you are nothing,'' says Eric proud, but little does he know what is about to happen. Eric is about to shoot him when Tris points her gun straight at his head. They try to escape, but Four is arrested. She is injured, so they don't need her. The war has begun. Tris’s mother dies, saving Beatrice's life. ''They killed my mother.'' Crying, she is forced to kill her friend because he is affected by the serum, and otherwise would kill her first. -
Reunited
Tris is reunited with her father and brother, Caleb, and with her face expression and heartbroken eyes, she didn't have to tribal out, the terrible news about what had happened with the love of his life and their hero of a mother. -
Hurdles
They have to break into the Dauntless compound, to neutralize the serum. There are armed guards behind every corner, and her father dies protecting her. The leader of Erudite gets a taste of her own serum and they demand her to shut down her system. -
The end..and safe for now
Four and Tris are reunited and they are heading to Amity's headquarters by train for assistance and protection.
Together and eventually safe...for now!
