    Many videos of other athletes were spread through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram showing support of the #TakeTheKnee and U.S. National Anthem Protest that caught attention when Pro-football player Colin Kaepernick kneeled during the National Anthem to protest police brutality of African Americans.

    In an attempt to not have Donald Trump as their candidate for the 2016 President Race some Republicans and Conservatives came up with movement and petition to have him not be the nomination. It's main presence on social media was on Twitter. The hashtag was used to get more people to know about the movement and petition so more people would sign.

    This was a campaign the brand used to steer the term "like a girl" away from it's old meaning of being weak, to showing all that girls can be and do. The hashtag went viral on Twitter and other women and girls all around showed what it is like to be "like a girl".

    In 2018 after Rose McGowan came forward about her experience being sexually assaulted many other women got the courage to stand up and share their own stories of being raped and sexually assaulted. Through the hashtag on Twitter and Instagram women from all over the world shared their own experiences.

    Gillette #TheBestManCanBe
    Gillette came out with a ad calling out Toxic Masculinity. People shared and retweeted the ad on Facebook and Twitter. Some shared how much they liked and supported the campaign while some voiced their opposition against the campaign. Gillette knew that coming out with an ad like this would get many people talking because it is a topic that people have opinions about and relate to.
