The Black Death started in China and Asia. It killed 30% of China's population, 25million people. It was spread by fleas that were on rats. The rats spread it onto the humans. -

Chicken Pox first came to Britain in the 1600's. A doctor called Richard Morton first named chicken pox because everyone thought it was a minor case of small pox. -

Cholera was first spread by trades routes to Russia. Cholera is spread by drinking or eating dirty liquids or food. -
Swine Flu
Swine flu means pig flu, it is spread by pigs. It is not that likely that a human will get swine flu. The illness is not very contagious, so it does not pass through body to body. It first strated in the United States in pigs. -
HIV
HIV means: Human immunodeficiency virus
It is an infection on the immune system.
HIV was first spread to humans in the late 19th century or the early 20 century.
